Mirror inventory¶
The rule this file states. A file kept outside git is listed here with what it is and when it may
go, or it does not stay. How a deletion is performed is DELETION-01 in standing-rules.md: this
file states what may go and when, never how. A window that puts a file in ~/mirror adds its row in the same brief. The
seat checks this inventory against ls ~/mirror at every close verdict, comparing file count and
total bytes for directory rows and the digest for single-file rows. A row marked held — Tim to
rule is a question for Tim, not a reason to delete; the seat's recommendation sits in the row so
the question is answerable without re-deriving it.
Measured 2026-09-05 (MIRROR-INVENTORY-01, Gates 1–5). Every digest was read at the file, none quoted from a report. Directory rows carry file count + total bytes; single files carry sha256 (16).
Corrected 2026-09-15 under BRIEF-CANON-HYGIENE-01 7b5afbd0b8dd273f (Gate 1 verdict 64da23ee310544f4, R-HYG-3): the 13 "cite … from here on" pointers that named a superseded store, on 11 rows, re-pointed in place to their store's store-register.md row, each in a dated bracket; history kept.
